Breakfast Near Finsbury Park Station: Where to Go at Frame

A breakfast plate at Frame, near Finsbury Park station

The easiest breakfast near Finsbury Park station — Frame is a minute from the platforms at 7 Clifton Terrace, open from 8am, with Ozone coffee, pastries and all-day brunch.

A minute from every line

Finsbury Park is one of north London’s busiest interchanges. The Victoria line and Piccadilly line both stop here, Great Northern trains run into King’s Cross in a single stop, and the Overground calls here too. Above ground, the bus station sits right outside, with stops lettered around the interchange for the 4, 19, 29, 106, 141, 153, 236, 253, 254, 259 and W3 among others.

Whichever of those you arrive on, Frame is about a minute away on foot. Come out onto Clifton Terrace and we are at number 7.

Breakfast before a train

We open at 8am seven days a week. If you are catching something early, the counter has pastries and Ozone coffee to take with you. If you have twenty minutes, the kitchen is already going: the Fry Up, Cilbir Eggs, Finsbury Hash, Eggs Benedict and Smashed Avocado are all on from opening, and so are the pancakes.

Hours are Sunday to Wednesday 8am–5pm and Thursday to Saturday 8am–6pm.

Walking to the Emirates from Finsbury Park

Finsbury Park is one of the main walking routes to the Emirates Stadium — roughly a ten to fifteen minute walk. It is often the better choice on a matchday: Drayton Park closes for matches, Holloway Road runs exit-only before and after kick-off, and Arsenal station, although closer, gets considerably busier. Guides regularly point visiting supporters to Finsbury Park for exactly that reason.

That puts Frame on the way to the ground. For an afternoon kick-off we are open through the whole arrival window — brunch, a proper coffee or a drink from the bar before you walk up. Walk-ins are welcome, and if you are coming with a group it is worth reserving a table so you are not waiting.

Coming from further out

Finsbury Park is a straightforward hop from most of central London: one stop from King’s Cross, straight down the Victoria line from Oxford Circus and Victoria, and on the Piccadilly line from Holborn and Covent Garden. Great Northern services run out to Hatfield, Welwyn and Stevenage, so it works as a meeting point if people are coming in from Hertfordshire.
